Theme:
“Santa’s sleigh has ran out of Christmas spirit, his sleigh is stuck unable to deliver the rest of Manchester’s Christmas presents. The Christmas spirit of Santa’s Sleigh is made up of four key elements. He needs his elves (that’s you) to help him return these four elements to help power his sleigh. You and your team of elves have 30 minutes to unlock and find the elements, fix the sleigh and get Christmas back on track. Can you save Christmas?”

Operation Santa looked gorgeous, and oh so Christmassy. A small entry area quickly opened up into a winter wonderland, complete with Santa’s Sleigh and Rudolph. It was truely delightful and considering it is only a temporary room, the standard of decoration was wonderful, elegant and very festive. This room will put even the biggest scrooge into the Christmas spirit.

Game Play:
A 30-minute game, but don’t let that put you off, Lucardo have packed plenty of puzzles into the action-packed 30 minutes!
An open game, that consists of many different puzzle types. Physical, Word, Observation, Team Work, Sensory, Searching & Logic.
Puzzle design was exquisite, with there being absolutely no logic leaps in any of the puzzles. They were all incredibly enjoyable and had wonderful Ah-ha moments that captivated us from the second we started solving.
All the puzzles were perfectly on theme, incredibly charming and suitable for all ages. A really family-friendly room!
Signposting was as close to perfection as one can get in an escape room and this really aided the open nature of the room. It was the little details of the signposting which really impressed me within this room. Nothing has been overlooked, even down to the placement of the padlocks within the room. ~
The flow was wonderful, fast-paced but never rushed, exciting, stimulating and fun.
A wonderful unique take on the Christmas genre which is sure to engage and charm anyone who plays it.

Ian and Adam (the owners of Lucardo) were our hosts and were wonderful. Delivered a great story and perfect clueing throughout the game
