Theme:
“After years of planning you and your crew have planned the perfect bank job. All you need to do now if pull it off!!”

A pretty standard bank office affair done very well, with a twist in how you enter the game which was fun! The room was decorated simply, clean, with just enough paperwork and stuff to look at without it getting overwhelming, you can’t really get excited with a modern office theme as they can be a bit stark and clinical. The room is well lit and a good size for 4-5 people. There is a good amount of immersion in this room and it did feel at points that we were snooping around the offices of the bank we were trying to rob!

Game Play:
A fairly linear game with a couple of parallel paths. But, with a twist. As well as escaping you have to rob the bank of as much swag as possible, and this is done by opening optional 3 digit locks.
This mechanic works very well as it leads you to know exactly which locks are needed to open to get the gold and which you can attack once you’ve got the gold, to get more swag bags! As escaping isn’t the key component to winning the game.
The puzzles were a little harder than voodoo room, yet all of them had solid logic and were a lot of fun. They all had nice ah-ha moments, when we reached them (I put this down to it being our 5th game of the day and we were tired, as we were SLOW in this game) this was not down to the logic of the puzzles. The puzzles were a good mix of observation, logic, word, math, physical, luck. There was a good selection to let all team members solve something!
The flow was good (again, had we been more awake I think we’d have played better) everything led seamlessly onto the next and there was no real sticking points. A good game!
The more the merrier for this game, enthusiasts and newbies alike, and the quicker you can get through the main game the better, leaving more time to search for the silver locks!
A real fun game, which is taxing yet logical.

Clue System:
Clues were delivered via a walkie talkie

Game Host:
Chris again was our game host and ran the game so well, really helping us out when we got stuck!

Did we escape?
Yes in 58 minutes with 7 bags of gold!
