Exit Plan – The Tesla Cube. Game Date 01/02/2017
“The brilliant inventor and scientist, Doctor Boson, has spent a lifetime advancing and improving upon the designs of his idol Nikola Tesla. In particular, the development of an object called the ‘Tesla Cube’ – a device of near limitless power.
As his assistants, you have helped the Doctor with his painstaking work. But recently the Doctor has become withdrawn and has spent many nights working alone in his lab.
Curious, you have done some investigation and discovered that the Doctor has secretly produced a working Tesla Cube which he intends to sell to a criminal group who intend to use it as part of a terrifying weapon!
Only you are able to stop the Doctor – you must break into his office and steal the Tesla Cube before it is too late!”
Another classic “office” room, but beautifully decorated. Normally with some office type rooms, the furniture and decor can seem a bit battered and weathered, not this room. The standard was impeccably high and the furniture was polished to perfection. Whilst not the most intricately decorated, everything served a purpose and fit the theme just right. There’s a great sense of exploration in this room, which considering the theme is a grand achievement.
Wonderful, just wonderful. This room was linear, played to each of our strengths and the flow was dreamy… I enjoyed this room so much. The puzzles were standard escape room fare, but each with its own unique twist that meant a logical head was needed to solve them. There was a lovely mix of puzzles no repetitiveness either. Just a joy to play.
Very much a “gen 1 room” – but still incredibly enjoyable, we never felt stuck or slowed down at all throughout this game, the “ah-ha moments” came with every puzzle.
I feel this is pretty much a perfect game for both newbies and enthusiasts alike!
Clues (and time updates) were delivered via a walkie talkie
Aiden was our game host and ran our game perfectly yet again!
We chatted before and after the game and he was so friendly, we had to remind ourselves that we had a game to play as we got off the subject so many times in the briefing!
Did we escape?
Yes, in about 45 minutes!
